The Tacoma Mountaineers social group is organized for the enjoyment of all adult Mountaineers and plans a wide variety of social and outdoor activities.
Meet people of diverse ages and cultures with a similar interest in hiking, biking, backpacking, climbing, skiing, dancing, kayaking, dining, sailing, snowshoeing, theater, and volleyball - just a few of the activities we enjoy together.
Activities
Whistler Singles Weekend: August 4th - 7th, Thursday - Sunday
Get your Passports ready! We're going to Whistler!
Have you ever been to Whistler Mt. in the summer? There's lots to do such as hiking on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, long paved trails for biking up to the Aquatic center nearby, Kayaking on the river through town, swimming, golfing, Zip-lining, riding the gondola and the famous Peak-to-Peak ride, there's geocaching and much more. Enjoy the numerous restaurants and tons of shopping in the Village. People from all over the world play here!
Accommodations are at the spacious Fireside Lodge just 5 min. outside Whistler Village. Refrigerators and a fully equipped kitchen are available to use. Relax and socialize in a large and comfortable lounge area with leather sofa seating located on the main living level. It is the perfect place for quiet relaxation at the end of the day or you can sit outside on the deck and look for shooting stars at night.
There is a games room directly below the lounge on the entrance level with a pool table, foosball table, darts, and a portable ping pong table.
Internet: Pay as you go WIFI or pay internet terminal is available.
Bring your customary personal items, including sleeping bag, towel, swimsuit and bikes. Earplugs are suggested for light sleepers.
Ladies quarters are downstairs and the gentlemen are upstairs.
Limit 50. $160 for members, $190 for non-Mountaineer members.
Thursday. Enjoy 4 amazing days and 3 fabulous nights in spectacular Whistler, Canada including 3 hearty breakfasts, 3 light lunches and 3 fabulous dinners.

ID required at the border: A passport, passport card or State Issued Enhanced Driver's License is necessary.
