To promote interest in trails and climbs across Washington and now into California, Oregon and Canada the Mountaineers have established Hiking and Peak Awards. The awards are available to members that complete the requirements listed for a particular Hiking or Peak award. A complete set of the awards are on display in the Tacoma clubhouse for your perusal.
If you complete the requirements for a particular award, please contact Curt Baxstrom, Peak Pins Chairperson at baxstrom@earthlink.net. Awards can be received anytime, but generally are presented at the annual banquet.
